Lower School Teacher (Full Time)

St. Luke’s Episcopal School, serving grades PreK-3 - 8th, is looking for a certified early childhood or elementary teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and a current teaching certificate.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with students, possess strong classroom management skills, and be dedicated to fostering a love for learning in students.

Duties:

- Develop and implement engaging educational lessons that align with curriculum standards

- Provide instruction in core subjects

- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students

- Assess student progress and provide feedback to enhance each child's education

- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development

 

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree required (in education-related field preferred)

- Lower school teaching experience preferred

- Proficiency in classroom and behavior management techniques

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to create dynamic lesson plans that cater to different learning styles

- Knowledge of childhood development principles

Candidates should be prepared to work from 7:30 - 3:40 Monday through Friday, with holidays off.
