St. Luke's Library
St. Luke's Library holds thousands of books that are used for read-alouds and lessons, as well as individual enjoyment. Students are encouraged to request books they would like to add to our library based on their preferential interests. The library promotes a bookmark design contest, which is judged by our staff, and displayed at the local public library. Showcasing these artistic talents, combined with literacy, promotes a cohesive expression amongst our curriculum.

Special Events
Library Highlights Week

The week before Mardi Gras break is an exciting time for St. Luke's Library.
All across the school, we recognize the joys and benefits of reading by celebrating books and authors through fun activities and events.

Birthday Books

A $20 donation to the library allows families to donate a book in their child’s name. A special book of their choice will have their nameplate added. The book will also be blessed in the chapel and added to our library collection. All donations help us purchase new books and materials for the library.
Boo Grams

Boo Grams are a fun way to raise money for our library. During October, students may send a friend or teacher a special Halloween treat by purchasing a Boo Gram for 50 cents each. In 2022, we raised $1,080 which was used to purchase a ThermaBind machine for book repair. Additional funds benefit St. Luke's Library in many ways, such as purchasing new books to keep the latest and greatest collection in our library.
